The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (AIE) is trying to strengthen and develop relations with countries in the region. They could help Afghanistan recover by eliminating bureaucratic formalities. This was stated by the IEA Deputy Prime Minister of Political Affairs, Abdul Kabir, reports Ariana News.
The statement was made at a conference at the Serena Hotel in Kabul, to which officials from the chambers of commerce and industry of Iran, Pakistan, Japan, Turkey and China were invited.
“We call on all countries to remove obstacles and problems for Afghan traders and investors. Creating problems, blocking roads and increasing taxes on Afghan businessmen will harm economic relations and cooperation between Afghanistan and neighboring countries,” – Kabir said.
Head of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce Nuruddin Azizi reported that the IEA provides comprehensive support to businessmen and held a series of consultations with the Iranian side to use the infrastructure of Chabahar port. The Iranian side promised to provide logistical space at the port for businessmen from Afghanistan.
