The National Police are looking for the perpetrator of the attack on a taxi driver yesterday at the Príncipe de Asturias Hospital in Alcalá de Henares. As ABC has learned, the event happened in the parking lot of the health center. The victim is in very serious condition.
The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m., when officers received notification that the driver had been stabbed. The man is Spanish and 62 years old.
At this time, no further information about the case has been released. One of the hypotheses put forward is that the taxi driver resisted a robbery. The truth is that he had taken a client to the emergency room and, unexpectedly, they started arguing. That’s when the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed him. His prognosis is guarded, as explained at the hospital.
It was the doctors of the Prince of Asturias who gave him first aid and had to take him to intensive care, with four stab wounds. Now, investigators are examining video surveillance cameras in the area, of which there are many, and interviewing possible witnesses.
