October 5 – International Teacher’s Day. Usually this story reminds us of our teachers who showed us the ways of life in schools. But in this article I want to talk about one of the first teachers for many of us: parents. An incident I witnessed recently inspired me to write about this.

The secret was revealed when passing by the “28 Mall”. The father was explaining the way to his daughter, he turned and pointed to the street where they came from. “Do you remember this place?” he asked, then pointed ahead. “From here turn right, you will continue straight…”
I didn’t hear what happened after that, but everything was clear to me. I remembered that today is September 15. The fathers I saw also took their daughters by the hand and led them to higher educational institutions: they did not leave them alone on the threshold of a new life path.
This vision was very valuable. For some reason, there was a certainty that no difficulties in life could shake these girls. Because…
Science has shown that the support parents give their daughters increases their self-confidence and allows them to make stronger decisions. After all, they are the first examples of men in every girl’s life, they are the ones who can show her love, respect and the right path, whether in the family or in society: THEY are the first TEACHERS. For this reason, the “education” provided by parents directly affects the future of girls, their future relationships and decisions.
If this teacher neglects his “lesson”, if he does not show love and care towards his daughter, certain explanations are given only by shouting, sometimes even raising his hand, the place of these “lost lessons” can be taken by other representatives. of the opposite sex and often result in wrong decisions for girls.
A girl who sees her father’s support in time will always feel her hand in her father’s palm, even if one day her parents are no longer in the world, and will take strong and independent steps in life with the confidence that he gives her. provides.
Let me mention a nuance here. Of course, the role of the mother is vital and necessary for the child, but fathers have a different influence, especially in teaching their daughters how to have healthy relationships with men.
Thus, today’s parents who show their daughters the way, raise them with love and support, in fact, allow them to find their own path in life. Let us not forget to appreciate the role of these important “first teachers” on Teacher’s Day.
