Teachers from Shusha in their homeland after 32 years: “The enemy took away our childhood”

Vasila Mammadova and Turkan Huseynova, who returned to Shusha as students after 32 years as teachers, shared their impressions with Baku TV.

Teachers who returned to their homeland, which they had been yearning for for years, said they experienced the joy of working at Secondary School No. 1 in the city of Shusha.

“I was 10 years old when I left Shusha. The enemy took away not only our land, but also our childhood and youth. Now we have returned to our Shusha, where we lived in our dreams,” said T. Huseynova.
