The investigation into the beating and sexual abuse of a two-year-old girl in the Malkara district of Turkey’s Tekirdag province continues.
The testimony of 13-year-old KA, one of the suspects, was released as part of the investigation into the incident that occurred on September 5.

It should be noted that the mother took her two-year-old daughter Silani to the hospital, who had bruises on her body, three days after the incident. The doctor who examined Sila saw bruises in the baby’s genital area and reported the situation to the police, after which investigations were initiated.
The baby, who was transferred to another hospital and underwent brain surgery on suspicion of a brain hemorrhage, was admitted to the intensive care unit and is said to be in a stable but serious condition.
According to the mother, her neighbours invited them to dinner. The woman said she left her daughter next door and returned home and picked her up in the evening. When she bathed the child, she saw blood stains on the diaper and realised that her daughter had been raped. However, she hid the situation so that no one would find out.
Five people were arrested in connection with the incident, including the baby’s mother and the neighbour’s children. The mother’s other five-year-old daughter was placed under state protection.
KA, 13, who sexually abused little Sila Y., confessed in his testimony that he hit the girl because he was jealous of her father. According to her, her father bought a cake for Silaya, but not for her.
“I was violent because I was jealous,” the teenager said.
It should be noted that it was learned that KA lived with his paternal grandmother and his two brothers, and his mother abandoned them.
