Tehran preparing ‘surprising response’ to Israel: Iranian general

Iranian General Amir Mousavi said Tehran is preparing a powerful response to Israel’s actions and has no intention of delaying its actions.

The Telegram channel “Alexey Zheleznov” writes about this.

According to him, Iran itself will choose the appropriate moment and method of response, stressing that the response will be “surprising” for Israel.

“We will determine the time and method of responding to Israel, and we will not delay the time when it is necessary, and our response will certainly be surprising,” the general said.

Recall that Iranian sources reported that the previously planned attack on Israel was temporarily postponed.

According to the Arab television channel Sky News, Tehran decided to postpone the attack after receiving a warning through Iraq and intends to wait for negotiations with the president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump.

Despite this, senior Iranian officials continue to threaten Israel. The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps emphasized that Iran will not stop and is ready for confrontation until the end, and Israel must expect retaliation. In turn, the Iranian Foreign Minister announced his readiness to enter into negotiations, but emphasized that they would be based solely on the country’s national interests, excluding any format based on intimidation and pressure.

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran added that any threat to Iran’s security will receive an immediate and decisive response, and the country is prepared to respond to any attack, including against its nuclear facilities. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi previously said that Iran has no intention of developing nuclear weapons and stressed that its position on this issue is final.

In his speech to Trump, he noted that the path to improved relations must be based on mutual respect and trust.

Previously, Kursor wrote that Iran is ready to conduct nuclear negotiations, but there is a nuance.

Tehran expressed its willingness to negotiate on the nuclear program, but stressed that it would not negotiate “under pressure and threats.”
