The spokesperson for the PP in the Congress of Deputies, Miguel Tellado, today described the Castilian-Manchego president, Emiliano García-Page, as “one of the most dangerous characters of the PSOE and ‘Sanchism'”, l “one of those “that do the most damage” to Spanish politics”, because “it projects an image of controlled dissent which only strengthens Sánchez’s project”. He said it the day before the meeting that Page and Sánchez will have this Friday in Moncloa.
During his speech at the interparliamentary meeting of the Castilian-Manchego PP in Toledo, he emphasized in this regard that the “reality” is that García-Page “is the main guarantor of Sánchez on a daily basis”, seeking to “convince “You can support the PSOE, even if you do not agree with Sánchez”.
He added that there was “a lot” of talk about Junts’ seven votes in the Congress of Deputies and “very little” about García-Page’s eight votes, with which “there would have been neither investiture, nor amnesty, nor there is no question about the independence quota.
“The votes that Page requested in Castile-La Mancha are those that make possible all the abuses of this government and on which the president of Castile-La Mancha only pouts,” he declared, accusing the socialist leader for wanting “only in Spain, whatever happens.
In fact, regarding the meeting that Page will have this Friday with Pedro Sánchez at La Moncloa, Tellado highlighted that there will be a “living room scene” in which the regional president “will bow his head during the meeting and shout a little more late.
