“The focus of the COP29 conference on climate issues should be greatly appreciated. Issues related to climate change are mainly discussed here. I was very happy that there was a special news pavilion for children.”
Abigail Nyoki Gitonga, a 10-year-old participant who came to our country from Kenya, said these words in her statement to AZERTAC.
He drew attention to the current climate problems in his country and said: “Some regions of Kenya are experiencing severe drought, while others are experiencing excessive rainfall. Measures need to be taken to restore ecological balance. The difference between this conference and to other events is that it focuses mainly on climate issues, whereas in previous events, rural agriculture and other fields were more in the foreground.
Referring to the level of organization, the participant added: “The organization of the event is of a very high level. Everything is clean and carpeted. It is the first event of this type that I have attended and I really liked it.”
