An ATR-42 passenger plane of Trigana Airlines was dragged off the runway in the Indonesian province of Papua. The passengers were injured as a result of the incident.

The pilots of the plane were reported to have lost control.
Company official Lalu Yuniza said in his statement on the incident that the plane was dragged about 20 meters.
“We are still waiting for information from the pilot on how and why the plane went off course,” Yuniza said.
Yuniza also noted that the plane suffered serious damage as a result of the incident.
