Terrorist attack on a factory in Ankara: reaction of Hamas terrorists

The Hamas terrorist organization condemned the terrorist attack that occurred near the TUSAŞ defense company building in Ankara. Israeli media reported this.

In their statement, the Hamas terrorists expressed their solidarity with the Republic of Türkiye, its leadership and its people in connection with the tragedy. They also expressed their condolences to the families of the victims and their solidarity with the victims.

Recall that on October 23, as a result of an attack in Ankara, five people were killed and 22 were injured. Turkish authorities blamed Kurdish groups for the attack, prompting increased security measures at the TUSAŞ plant.

In response to the incident, the Turkish Defense Ministry announced attacks on Kurdish-owned targets in Iraq and Syria on the night of October 24.

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said two attackers, a man and a woman, were killed in an attack on the TUSAŞ defense plant in Ankara. He clarified that the process to establish their identities is ongoing and has not yet named the organization behind the attack. According to photographs from the scene, the terrorists arrived at the doors of the company in a taxi and opened fire in the parking lot, then, without stopping shooting, they broke into the territory, wounding the guards.

Local media, in particular the Haber Turk television channel, report that among the dead was the driver of the taxi in which the militants arrived at the site of the attack.

Turkish Defense Minister Yashar Guler stated that the country’s authorities will continue the fight against the PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) and noted that the terrorists will be persecuted until the last militant is destroyed. He stressed that the PKK has been repeatedly punished for its actions, but has not yet renounced violence.

The attack came a day after the leader of Turkey’s far-right nationalist party linked to President Erdogan suggested the possibility of paroleing PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan if he agreed to renounce violence and dissolve his organization.

Kursor previously wrote that Türkiye has tightened the embargo on goods against Israel.
