“Tesla” announced that it had recalled about 2.5 thousand electric pickup trucks “Cybertruck”.
Oku.Az-According to the news “Reuters”, this was reported with reference to the statement of the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The recall affects 2,431 electric trucks, which were manufactured between November 6 of last year and July 30 of this year.
The recall is reportedly related to an inverter malfunction that could lead to a loss of traction and an increased risk of an accident. Tesla technicians will replace the inverter in recalled vehicles for free.
Note that this recall is the sixth for Tesla’s Cybertruck this year. For example, in June it was reported that the American electric car maker was recalling around 12,000 pickup trucks due to problems with the windshield wiper motor and problems with the trunk. In April it was learned that about 3,000 Cybertrucks were recalled due to a malfunction in the accelerator pedal.
It should be noted that serial production of the Cybertruck began in July 2023 and the first deliveries to customers were made in November.
