The International Chess Federation (FIDE) has published the world ranking of chess players for the month of November.
Oku.Az reports that Shahriyar Mammadyarov has the best score among Azerbaijani chess players.
Our grandmaster, who advanced three places, took 15th place with 2738 points. Teymur Rajabov (2698), who fell two places, took 33rd place. Rauf Mammadov (2651), who moved up 8 places, took 82nd place.
Norwegian Magnus Carlsen leads the table with 2831 points.
Among our representatives, Gunay Mammadzade obtained the best score in the women’s table. He fell five places and is in 39th place with 2417 points. Govhar Beidullayeva (2403), who moved up one step, took 44th place, and Ulviyya Fataliyeva (2381), who moved up two steps, took 67th place. Ms. Balajayeva (2362) moved up 4 places to 79th place.
China’s Yufan Hu leads the women’s classification with 2,633 points.
