In the 36th edition of the World Cheese Awards the most prestigious international cheese competition, Quesos TGT received 24 awards for its exquisite cheeses; achievement that consolidates the brand as leader in the cheese sector in Spain.
In this edition of the World Cheese Awards they presented more than 4,786 cheeses evaluated by a jury made up of 250 international experts in the sector. Judges evaluated aspects such as visual appearance, texture, aroma and flavor of each cheese, choosing one star cheese per table. Only cheeses that stand out in all these aspects move on to the final phase, where some of them are selected as the best in the world.
This detailed process was the scenario carried out by the Galán Curado, a Manchego type cheese with unique nuances, which received the gold medal, after surprising the juryas reported in a press release.
In addition to this award, TGT Group obtained silver and bronze awards in various categories, demonstrating the brand’s commitment and know-how. The wide variety of award-winning cheeses range from more traditional cheeses like Ronkari DOP from Navarra or Arzúa Ulloa DOP from Galicia to more innovative options like fig pearls or fresh goat’s cheese with rosemary.
This recognition reflects not only the quality of TGT’s artisanal processes, but also the efforts of its teams of producers, breeders and artisans who contribute to the creation of each cheese, taking care of the smallest detail. This achievement highlights Quesos TGT’s commitment to quality and innovationby offering a wide variety of products ranging from traditional cheeses with Protected Designation of Origin (DOP) to more disruptive options.
