“Thank you for your lessons, the moments shared and the love of learning.” He German school de Puente Genil recently experienced a special day where he said goodbye to one of his teachers, Antonio Mesawho is retiring and leaving the center where he has worked for twenty years.
This was all by surprise. The teacher was leaving one of the classrooms and suddenly found a long student corridor applauding, as well as teachers who joined in the tribute. He had to react quickly and he did so by throwing air kisses and thanking several times. It can be seen in its entirety at this link.
It was not a short walk, as he descended several floors and students were clapping everywhere, until he reached the patio, where the tribute continued. They did not miss any shield of the Bétis and green and white balloons along the path, which ended with some moving words.
The German School also immortalized him on its social networks by speaking of Antonio Mesa as a “great professional of medicine and education for over twenty years. During this time, they are grateful for his “commitment and motivation to students,” always motivating them to “be better people” and igniting the “spark of concern for education.”
