“Thank you, now I have a job again”

Valencia became the scene of a moving story that touched the hearts of many people. In an act of solidarity, a city neighbor received with tears of gratitude a new sewing machine from the Manoli Gutiérrez dance schoolafter losing theirs during the recent floods caused by DANA.

The woman, who had recently purchased her machine and had not had the opportunity to use it for the first time, shared her sadness remembering the loss. “I bought my machine because I couldn’t use it for the first time and it was damaged, and the first thing my mother said to me was, ‘Buy your machine‘”, she admitted enthusiastically.

The story went viral on social media, where the community responded with empathy and support. One user expressed: “I cry again. This video is very moving, a great gesture on the part of this flamenco school in Coria del Río (Seville) with this woman who lost her recently purchased sewing machine and her work. ¿How can I not love my country? And the good people? THE GREATEST!”

“My sewing machine! she exclaimed enthusiastically. I lost my machine. “Mom, I have the machine!” exclaimed the woman in the video shared on social networks.

In a small letter attached to the gift, the Manoli Gutiérrez Dance School noted: “Hope you will like our gift“. The woman did not hesitate for a second and declared enthusiastically: “I don’t like it, it fascinates me“.

“Precisely, before this tragedy happened, they had paid me because I had made a Franciscan doll for a school, and with what I got, I bought the machine that I couldn’t even use the first time. [por la DANA]”.
