Hello,
How are you? Last week you had no news about me, and not because I was on vacation (I have not tried them yet), but because it was absorbed in the publication this storyI thought that, even so, I would give me time to write this news newsletter and send it to you, but what was happening was impossible. And since we are used to telling you some things that go around this type of stories. Firstly, which was said: they entail a very intense level of work, work that usually lengthens over time, but this requires some efforts that we make in the last days before publication.
I also wanted to take advantage of the problem of anonymity or non -accusations and sources that we use. It is important that our readers and readers know that our journalistic information may include pseudonyms or other ways to protect the name and personality of those who tell us their stories, but this does not mean that we do not know their personality or have not proved history.
Our information They are never the accumulation of anonymous evidence: journalists who work these stories, we know people who tell their evidence, we ask questions, we ask checks and requests. Our obligation is to apply a strict journalistic process, as in any other story. Another thing is that when writing and publishing history, we use pseudonyms or initials to maintain the identity of these people for the public. This is that most of the people involved, especially because of the fear of the consequences and/or for what implies the impact of the media.
I explain this because I think that sometimes there is confusion with this issue. These days I received comments from some people, casting doubt on the reliability and trust this investigationN because the real names of women do not appear, because they realized that then our information was just a selection of anonymous stories that we would find there. There is nothing next from reality.
Goodbye, Jane
I met Jane Lazarre in 2018. It was very important for me interview: A few months before, the publishing house of the Outskirts was transferred to Spanish and published his book “Mother Nudo”, they sent it to me, and this is how I discovered one of the texts that noted me the most. Lazarr wrote this in 1976, after he gave birth to his first child, in search of to tell about the ambivalence of motherhood, for the deconstruction of the myth of a good mother and, ultimately, in search of himself. I think Lazarra did not know at that time, it was that he illuminated the path for many others. I wondered: how is it possible that the story of this woman, written forty years ago, is so much to see with me?
Two weeks ago, Jane Lazarre died in New York at the age of 81, she had a sore time. I knew for the post that the “outskirts” made on Instagram, and my heart broke a little. I liked this interview, and I would like to talk to her again, comment with her about what happened to me.
“I have never been such a rope. My mission just survived. I squeezed it hard because there was no other way to enter this bastard inside, and because pushing is not a desire; This requirement, supported by the violence that inhabit your body, suddenly turned into your enemy. I pushed all my strength, I believed without a doubt that I died, then he was born. Contempling night, still spilling blood between my legs.

IN This conversation of 2018Jane Lazarre talked about many things: about expectations, guilt, racism, breastfeeding, the absence of honest stories, which until recently in the literature were motherhood.
“Women who write or who are artists or professionals that we want to continue our work, but we also want you to be able to feel.
So thank you, Jane, a good trip. We stay with your wisdom.
– “Is this not a mother, how wonderful that you did it when you did?” This woman asked me that morning. “I did not answer, contained tears. In fact, I feel sad and exhausted

Some films
I am not telling you anything else today, because I distributed a lot. A conversation with you, which is behind our investigations, made me think about a couple of films that tell the circulation of great journalistic stories that marked the turning point:
🎱’AL discovered ‘Which tells the real story of two journalists who revealed Vainstein’s business.
🎲 ” ‘Great Exclusive’The film that tells how the BBC interview with Prince Andres was achieved to answer his connection with Jeffrey Epstein, who was arrested for sexual operation and sexual crimes against minors.
See you next week.
