The 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded on Wednesday, October 9, to the American David Baker, the British Demis Hassabis and the American John Jumper for their work on proteins. David Baker was awarded “for the computational design of proteins”and Demis Hassabis and John Jumper “for protein structure prediction”the Swedish Academy announced in a press release.
