Marco Angulo, soccer player for the Ecuadorian national team and the LSU club, died at the age of 22.
Oku.Az reports that the player died after a car accident.
The incident occurred on October 7. The car in which Angulo and four other people were traveling crashed into a 50-ton metal structure in the southeast of Quito. As a result of the accident, two people traveling in the vehicle died instantly.
Angulo was hospitalized with a pelvic fracture, pneumothorax, brain hemorrhage and other injuries. The footballer, who spent a month in the hospital, died on November 11, despite all the doctors’ efforts.
It should be noted that M. Angulo played two games with the Ecuadorian national team.
