October 18, 2020, twenty-second day of the Patriotic War, which led us to the freedom of our lands.
Oku.Az recalls that the armed forces of Armenia are once again moving the fighting outside the front line, attacking the civilian population and civilian infrastructure, starting in the morning, once again flagrantly violating the humanitarian ceasefire regime and destroying the surrounding areas of the city of Jabrayil, as well as the areas along the Araz of the region that were liberated from occupation by firing mortars and artillery at their villages during the night. The hostile enemy also tries to attack in the direction of Aghdara, Fuzuli, Hadrut and Jabrayil.
Unlike Armenia, as a result of the activities carried out by the Azerbaijani army, which fought only on the battlefield, a large number of enemy troops, two launching stations for S-300 anti-aircraft missiles, five T-72 tanks , three “BM-21 “Grad” volley missile system, two “Smerch”, one “D-20” howitzer and one “KS-19” anti-aircraft gun, six vehicles destroyed and disabled.
In the afternoon, the next attack aircraft “Su-25” of the Armenian Armed Forces, which attempted to launch an air strike against the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the direction of Jabrayl, as well as the tactical unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) belonging The Armenian armed forces, who were trying to fly in the direction of Horadiz, were detected by the Azerbaijani air defense units and were destroyed. At the same time, the Azerbaijan Air Defense Forces neutralize the missile fired by the Armenian armed forces towards the Khizi region. At the same time on the same day, during the successful military operations of our army in the direction of Fuzuli, a military unit of the Armenian armed forces was captured by our units.
Assistant to the President and head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, Hikmat Hajiyev, in an interview with the television channel “Al Jazeera” gives detailed information about the recent provocations and war crimes committed by Armenia:
“The silence of the international community against the illegal activities and war crimes committed by Armenia, and the failure to strongly condemn these acts, allows Armenia to feel in a state of impunity. We call on the international community to “to strongly condemn these actions and prevent it from committing such provocations, as well as this occupation, we call for an end to it. Armenia remains the only serious threat to stability and security in the region.”
And most importantly: on such a historic day, the President Ilham Aliyev gives the news of another victory to our people. It reports that Khudafari, which was occupied by Armenians in 1993, was liberated:
“The Armed Forces of Azerbaijan raised the flag of Azerbaijan over the old Khudafarin Bridge. Love to the people of Azerbaijan! Karabakh is Azerbaijan!”
