The summit at the level of senior representatives will be attended by delegations from Russia, Turkey and Iran as guarantor countries of the Astana process, which supervise issues related to the solution of the situation in Syria.
Representatives of the Syrian government and opposition are also expected to attend. Delegated observers from the UN, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq will attend.
In addition to conflict resolution issues, the agenda includes issues such as the release of hostages and the search for missing persons, the humanitarian situation, the mobilization of the efforts of the international community to facilitate the reconstruction of Syria after the conflict and the creation conditions for return. of Syrian refugees to their homeland.
