Major General Farid Aliyev was entrusted with the position of head of the General Department of Military-Technical Supplies of the Ministry of Defense (MOD).

The Major General worked as head of the General Department of Customs Audit and Risk Management of the State Customs Committee before taking up his current position. Farid Aliyev resigned from his position in January 2023.
Let us remember that last year the President Ilham Aliyev Farid Aliyev was awarded the high military rank of “major general” according to the order he signed.
It should be noted that Farid Aliyev is the son of Alibaba Aliyev, former head of the Executive Branch of the Sabunchu district. Alibaba Aliyev was relieved of his position in 2012 by decree of President Ilham Aliyev. Later, the former chief executive worked as a sector director in the Department of Territorial Organizational Affairs of the Presidential Administration.
