THE Navarra Business Confederation (CEN) launched a new advisory bodycalled Business Advisory Committeewhich integrates 53 leading companies in billing or job creation in the Foral Community. Its constitution was formalized this morning during a meeting chaired by Manuel Piquer, president of the CENAnd Antonio Garamendi, CEOE presidentwhich they attended 40 businessmen, managers and representatives of the companies that make it up.
More precisely, it is a new forum created with the aim of contributing with proposals And reflections to strengthen the Navarrese economic fabric. Over the course of several annual meetings, it will serve as a link for discuss and share experiences about the present and future of Economy of Navarra.
During the incorporation ceremony, Manuel Piquer thanked the member companies for their “generosity and availability” to respond to the CEN’s call and share your knowledgeneeds and concerns. “We have many fronts to tackle and this group represents a wonderful fulcrum, with great vision and experience, in the issues we will address,” Piquer said.
In this sense, the president of the CEN underlined the opportunity to bring together this group of large multi-sector and international companies, so that they can directly share their vision and concerns, “which will allow us to constantly monitor reality, carry out more agile monitoring of the situation of the largest companies in the community and propose measures and actions to Navarre.
For his part, the President of the CEOE, Antonio Garamendi, highlighted the success of the initiative and encouraged the new Council and the CEN to continue working to highlight the role of entrepreneurs and achieve a more favorable environment for business activity on the pillars of legal certainty, regulatory stability and quality of the standard. “I am sure that the new Committee will boost the activity of the CEN and strengthen the role of Navarre’s businesses as a driver of economic growth, job creation and, in general, the prosperity of all citizens of the Community Forale”.
This new consultative body was born with the aim of configuring a reference discussion space serve as a contrast group to propose new initiatives and project a united voice around the needs of Navarre in economic and commercial matters. The reflections and proposals from this forum will complement those of other organizations and working groups with SMEs and independents promoted by the CEN.
