Recoletas Atlético sponsored the march of this edition, with departure and arrival in the lower area of the Cerro de Las Contiendas municipal park
Nearly 800 people participated this Sunday in the seventh edition of the Popular March, organized by the Sport Sprint Club and the Municipal Sports Foundation of Valladolid City Hall, in favor of the Food Bank Foundation. In this edition, the city’s handball team, Recoletas Atlético Valladolid, was the sponsor of the walk, starting and finishing in the lower area of the Cerro de Las Contiendas municipal park, near the paddle tennis courts.
The route taken extends for approximately five kilometers and took place entirely in the facilities of the municipal park, as part of a solidarity event of a recreational and non-competitive nature, open to the participation of all people, schools, families and entities who wished to join the collaboration with Food. During the walk, all those registered received a piece of fruit, an energy bar and a soft drink, products offered by various collaborators of the Valladolid Food Bank. Tap water dispensers have also been installed by Aquavall at various points along the route, Ical reports.
