The big date of the organic production of Navarre closed its doors, exceeding all expectations and breaking attendance records with thousands of visitors. With 37 stands and more than 30 events organized this weekend at the Noáin Park of the Senses the impact that the consolidation has left as one of the most significant events in Navarre. The fair was held in a festive atmosphere throughout the weekend and established itself as the most important single organic product fair in Navarre.
Since its start on Friday afternoon, the 9th Ecological Fair of Navarre It has continued to receive thousands of visitors, mostly from Navarre but also from other autonomous communities, reflecting the good reception of the Fair, Saturday being the day of the greatest influx of public and sales. The CPAEN gives a “very positive” assessment of the major event in the organic sector and thousands of people attended the event highlighting organic food from Navarre, with more than 37 organic production stands.
A consolidated event that for the fourth year, it is celebrated in the Park of the Senses of Noáinas a meeting place and promotion of local organic production. This is an effort of ecological sector that continues to rely on direct salesfor the meeting between producers and citizens.

Also stands out the TxikiEkoZona, which throughout the weekend was the meeting point for most of the txikis with inflatables, games, workshops, children’s tastings, storytelling, etc. This year’s edition wanted to pay special attention to the most txikis, raise awareness and sensitize people to eating habits from a young age through the game. In addition, music animated the Parc des Sens Noáin throughout the day, with jazz, soul and rock rhythms.
And what this event showed, once again, is that the organic farming of Navarre is able to offer a varied sample of products arranged so that citizens can enjoy a healthy life, consuming fresh and processed foods whose main characteristic is that they are produced according to agricultural practices that respect the environment, natural cycles, animal welfare, avoid the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, promote crop rotation, without chemicals or elements that alter their organoleptic characteristics: organic foods are healthy, sustainable, respectful of the environment and come from here, helping to structure our rural environment.
Guided tour with political parties

The presence of the Minister of Rural Development and Environment José Mª Aierdi, the Director General of Rural Development Ruben Goñi, as well as that of Sebastián Marco, Mayor of Noáin, as well as other representatives of the Noáin City Council, and the presence of representatives of the Parliament of Navarre from EH Bildu, Geroa Bai and PSN. THE 9th Ecological Fair of Navarre it’s a zero waste eventdesigned, organized and developed in such a way as to minimize, reuse and guarantee the recycling of the waste generated. An event where the minimum possible waste is generated and measures are also adopted to avoid food waste. An example of this is that there will be no bottled water in the entire premises and there will be a free water tavern for all. In addition, throughout the weekend there was the presence of Ecoasesor, who guided and sensitized the participants on how to sort waste.
