The accused of stabbing to death the man she lived with in a town in León goes on trial

The León Provincial Court will host the jury trial starting this Monday, October 15 against the accused woman to end the life of the man with the knives 77-year-old man with whom he lived in the town of Villagarcía de la Vega and for which he was the subject of an injunction not to approach less than 300 meters from him.

The accused, then aged 56, allegedly caused numerous injuries, one of them in the thoracic aorta and in the backwhich caused his death. The Civil Guard seized two knives from the victim’s home, where the events took place. in the early morning of June 22, 2022.

The judge once ordered secrecy of the summary in a case in which there was previous mutual complaints and certain incidents known to the inhabitants of the town. The prosecution asks the accused, foreign nationality and who has remained in prison since then, a sentence of 15 years in prison for the crime of homicide, one more for violation of sentence and that, once classified as a third degree prisoner or benefiting from parole, she is expelled from Spanish territory and cannot return within ten years, reports Ical.

The selection of the jury members took place, behind closed doors, last Friday and the public hearings will be held until Thursday this week at the Provincial Court of León.
