The AFFA Disciplinary Committee sanctioned four clubs

During the meeting of the Disciplinary Committee of AFFA (Azerbaijan Association of Football Federations), four teams playing in the Azerbaijan Premier League (APL) were sanctioned.

Oku.Az informs that on August 30, 2024, the representative of Nakhchivan was fined 700 manats for issuing yellow cards to 5 players of the visitors in the match “Sumgayit” – “Araz-Nakhchivan” of the 5th round of the Premier League.

In addition, the club “Shamakhi” was fined 800 manats for entering the field after the match between “Shamakhi” and “Neftchi” on August 31, 2024.

The same fate befell the representative of Ganja, Kepaz. The representative of Ganja was fined 800 manats for a fan entering the field during the Kepaz – Sabah match held at the Tovuz stadium.

In the 29th minute of the match between Zira and Qarabag, which is considered the central match of the tour, Zira was booked because fans of Zira shouted massive insults at the opposing team, and this happened for the first time in the current season.
