The alleged author of sexist crime of Baiona, during which Estela BS, 36, was murdered, was arrested this morning in the Belesar region.
As sources from the Civil Guard confirmed to this media, it was the ex-spouse of the murdered woman who called around 7 a.m. to inform them that he wanted to surrender due to the pressure to which he was subjected during his search by the police.
La Benemérita detained him in the Belesar region, the same in which his domicile was located, and was transferred to Vigo Barracks take a statement. The case will then go to court.
In the early hours of Friday, November 8, the man called 112 to report that he had found the victim at the door of his home and that he had put him in the house and covered him with a blanket. When emergency crews arrived, he fled the scene, claiming that It had nothing to do with it and he wasn’t going to “eat that brown one.”
The inmate had a romantic relationship with Estela and there were traces previous complaints of gender violence and he benefits from a non-communication order issued since last April by the Vigo Violence Against Women Court. Additionally, the victim was registered in the tracking system VIOGENEclassified as “medium risk”.
