The sentencing in Donald Trump’s criminal trial for secret payments to porn star Stormy Daniels has been postponed again and will not take place before the US presidential election, a New York judge announced on Friday, September 6.

On May 30, a jury unanimously found the former president guilty of thirty-four counts of falsifying accounts to conceal from voters the payment of $130,000 (approximately 120,000 euros) to porn actress Stephanie Clifford, known by her pseudonym Stormy Daniels, at the end of the 2016 presidential campaign. The expected sentence could be up to four years in prison. The sentencing was postponed until November 26.
