This Wednesday, November 13, the 20 years since the death of professor and academic Máximo Martín Aguadoclosely linked to the city of Toledo and especially to the “El Greco” Institute of which he was director between 1977 and 1984. Coinciding with this anniversary, the Municipal Archives of Toledo published a virtual exhibition with his activity and biographyproduced with the help of the family of this beloved professor, author of many publications on the prehistory of Toledo, its flora and fauna. “This is the most beautiful tribute we can pay to a person who dedicated his life to teaching and research,” says archivist Mariano García Ruipérez.

Martín Aguado, originally from Yunclillos, worked as a teacher in Palencia, Tenerife and Toledo, and in 1959 joined the Toledo Institute, which in 1978 was renamed “El Greco”.
