Wilbur Jennings, the co-writer of the biggest hit on the Titanic soundtrack, has died at the age of 80, his caregiver Martha Sherrod told the Hollywood Reporter.
The cause of the composer’s death has not been announced. According to media reports, Jennings had been ill for several years.
For his creative achievements, he received two Academy Awards and three Grammy Awards. In 2006, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Jennings has worked with dozens of musical artists, including stars such as Whitney Houston, BB King AND Roy Orbinson.
