The Azerbaijan national team, made up of men’s basketball players, played its next match in the qualifying phase of the World Championship.

It was reported that the team led by Tahir Bakhshiyev faced Switzerland at home. The match organized at the Baku Sports Palace ended with the rival’s victory by 85:55.
It should be noted that in their previous matches the team led by Tahir Bakhshiyev lost to Switzerland with 53:72 and Ireland with 67:91, and at home they won against Kosovo with 87:77.
