The Azerbaijan judo team took fourth place in the overall classification of the European Open Cup held in Prague, capital of the Czech Republic.
Oku.Az reports that our athletes won three medals in the competition.
The winner of the tournament was Rashid Elkiyev (66 kg), Huseyn Allahyarov (60 kg) and Jamal Hamzatkhanov (+100 kg) were silver medalists. In the final result, the Azerbaijan national team surpassed Italy, Ukraine, Israel, Canada and many other countries.
France took first place (6-4-6), Germany was second (2-0-3) and the Netherlands was third (1-3-4).
