Azerbaijan’s “Vugar Hashimov” team will begin competing in the European Chess Cup, which begins today in Vranyatske-Bane, Serbia.
Oku.Az informs that our representative will face the Norwegian club SOSS in the first round.
In the club team “Vugar Hashimov” Rauf Mammadov, Aydin Suleymanli, Vugar Asadli, Ahmed Ahmadzade, Vugar Manafov, Ulvi Sadikhov and Read Samadov will perform. The captain of the team will be Sarkhan Hashimov.
In total, 7 days of the European Cup will be played in which 84 clubs will compete.
It should be noted that Azerbaijani chess players Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Teymur Rajabov and Nijat Abasov will play in the “Bayegan Pendik Chess” in Turkey, Gunay Mammadzadeh and Govhar Beidullayeva will play in the “Sirmium Sremska Mitrovica” in Serbia, and Ulviyya Fataliyeva will play in the “Super Club of “chess”.
