In the Ulyanovsk region, three bodies were found in one of the houses in the village of Cherdakly and a criminal case was initiated. This was reported today, October 7, by the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for the region.
It is stated that a 61-year-old man and two women, aged 57 and 30, were found dead. According to researchers, they were poisoned by combustion products.
“In connection with the death of people, a criminal case has been opened under part 3 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence of two or more persons)”, — the department said in a statement.
The press service informed the regional prosecutor’s office that the progress of the investigation was under control.
“According to preliminary information, the residential building was disconnected from the supply of electricity and gas, therefore a gas generator was used to heat the premises of the house.” – the message said.
Forensic investigators are working at the scene, the scene is being inspected and forensic examinations have been ordered.
