A boy in Berau, Eastern Kalimantan (Eastern Kalimantan) called Holiv Fatur (9) was lost after he was beaten on a crocodile of 5 meters. The victim was beaten while swimming in the pond of his uncle.
“It is true that there have been cases that citizens are beaten on crocodiles, where victims are 9-year-old children,” said Derawan Island Police Chief, AKP Iwan Purwanto reported by Deckalimantan, Friday (4/4/2025).
The incident took place in the pond area, exactly in the waters of the Maya River, Kasai Village, Derawan Island District, Berau Regency on Wednesday (2/4). At that time the victim swam in the river behind the house with his relatives and cousins.

The victim’s family had shouted when he saw a crocodile approaching the three. However, the victim did not believe and continued to swim. At that time the victim was beaten on a crocodile.
“The witness shouted at them to go up because there was a crocodile. But the victim did not believe and continued to swim. Then the victim was beaten and dragged through the crocodile in the river,” he said.
Based on witness statements, the crocodile that bounced on the victim was estimated at more than 5 meters in size. Currently, the joint officer is still looking for victims.
“More than 5 meters, the problem is that witnesses are 2 shelves from the witness witnesses and the body is 1 meter wide, it is indeed a watchman there,” he said.
