The call of an inflatable boat heading to the Canary Islands triggers the rescue of 58 migrants

It was a call from the boat itself that activated the rescue protocol for a tire which had come out of Tan Tana town in southern Morocco, with 58 people on board, including a pregnant woman and a minor.

The sailor Concepción Arenal set out to meet him and finally located him 61 miles away (98 kilometers) east of Lanzarote.
