The CCA did not address the complaint of another candidate for deputy

The complaint of Rashad Dadashov, who was registered as a candidate for deputy from the 65th constituency of Salyan-Bilasuvar-Neftchala in the extraordinary elections to the Milli Majlis held on 1 September, was considered.

Oku.Az reports that the issue was discussed at the meeting of the Central Election Commission (CEC) held today.

According to the submission of Bakhsheysh Asgarov, a member of the CEC and the expert group, the complainant demanded the annulment of the election result, but his request was not granted. The district election commission based its decision on the fact that the violations of the law alleged by the complainant were not confirmed, i.e., it was not established that there were circumstances contrary to the will of the voters, therefore the complaint was not satisfied. The decision came into force on the day of its publication.

It should be noted that the complaint of Galandar Mukhtarli, a candidate for deputy, was not satisfied at today’s meeting.
