Starting from November 1 this year, the Central Bank of Russia will prohibit banking institutions in the country from charging commission for some transfers through the Fast Payment System (FPS), according to the official website of the regulator.
Commission cannot be charged when paying fines and taxes, i.e. when making payments to the state.
“We are talking about paying for daycare services, clubs, sections, taxes, fines, etc.” – explained the Bank of Russia.
Currently, all payments for traffic fines go through the SBP. But before the end of the year, this option will be added to the standard functionality of the State Services portal.
