The chief admiral of the Russian Pacific Fleet died during the marathon

The commander-in-chief of the Russian Pacific Fleet (a specialist in the management of submarines and surface ships, aircraft, airships – ed.) died during the “Bridges of Vladivostok” marathon.

About this Oku.Az “Baza” reports with reference to the “Telegram” channel.

According to information, Captain 1st Rank Yevgeny Vityutnev felt unwell during the race on September 28 and abandoned the race. He needed urgent medical assistance. However, it was not possible to save the navigator and he died at the age of 41.

The Primorye Ministry of Health confirmed the death, but the cause has not yet been revealed.

It is reported that before the start the marathon participants underwent a medical examination.

According to local media, the tragedy occurred while climbing a long hill located on one of the streets. Therefore, this is considered one of the most difficult parts of the marathon and many people cannot endure it.
