The Fuensalida House of Culture (Toledo) will host the first Fuensalida Film Festival on October 4 and 5, led by the City Council and CortoEspaña.
Some of the most important short films awarded at the Fugaz Awards will be screened as part of this initiative presented by the Councilor for Culture, Miriam Mera, and the Councilor for Youth, Borja Sánchez-Heredero, and whose objective is the exhibition and promotion of improved Spanish cinematographic works.
Furthermore, as part of this event, the The Little Cinema of Fuensalida, a children’s film festival with the best works that will make the imagination of the little ones in the house fly, the city hall reported in a statement.
So, the Saturday, from 8:30 p.m.there will be works like “Yegua”, with actors like Karra Ejalde, Amaranta Osorio, Bruno Ciordia, Natalia Huarte, Xabier Perurena or Natalie Pinot; “Table for Three” with Nacho Guerreros, Paco Tous, Alexandra Masangkay, Luis Mottola, Nerea Garmendia and Luis Zahera; “7 doses of dopamine” with Pablo Rivero, María Garralón, Fernando Ustarroz, Virginia Rodríguez, Elisa Hipólito, Jan Buxederas or Chloe Manhattan.
Also “Paris 70” with Luisa Gavasa, Alain Hernández and Neus Asensi; “The Author” with Luis Espacio, Sami Bek and Óscar Fervaz; “Acts in parts”, with Marta Casado, Javier Laorden, Sergio Milan, Sara Escudero, Pepe Viyuela, Missa Morán and Juan Díez; and the animation ‘Amarradas’ by Carmen Córdoba.
Also on Friday at 8 p.m., the Children’s Film Festivalwith short films such as “Umbrellas,” “Morgan, the Brave Orca,” “Spring Always Comes Back,” “The Smoke Seller,” and “Katakroken.”
