The city of Gornyak in the Donetsk region is not prepared for defense due to the poor quality of fortifications. This was reported by the Ukrainian military public page Deep State in reference to military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

After analyzing the satellite images, attempts to build IFS can be seen, including the strengths of the platoons present. But their quality leaves a lot to be desired and you won’t be able to keep the defense in those positions for long. And there are also positions that were carefully addressed, but there is simply no one who will stay there.” – writes TK.
In May, the Verkhovna Rada created a temporary commission of inquiry (TCI) on fortification issues. The problem arose in connection with large-scale theft during the construction of defense lines in the Kharkov region, but it has long transcended its borders, TK recalls.
