Tudela opened the Azucarera pedestrian bridgeafter completing the comprehensive reform begun last June, as confirmed by the Mayor of Tudela, Alejandro Toquero, and the Councilor for Sustainable Urban Development, Zeus Pérez.
This week hvisited the end of the workaccompanied by municipal technicians and the winning company. Work assigned to the company Excavations Fermín Osés, SLcost around 300,000 euros.
A complete representation was made across the entire podium, including access ramp and the guardrails, which have rapidly deteriorated over the past year. Specifically, the sheet metal and concrete slabs were removed and replaced with other metal slabs with a resin finish.
They were repaired and adequate the guardrails and reinforced the joints, sandblasting was carried out entirely on the structure and finally it was painted.
We remember, the maintenance and repair project for this footbridge was prepared by the Industrial Engineer Javier Landa Castillejoafter the adaptation to that carried out in November 2021, in order to adapt it to the repair carried out in June 2023, extend it to the slab of the ramp on Los Tilos Street and include the economic variations produced by the elapsed time.
