The Ciudad Real Provincial Council demands that the Council’s employment plans “not be accompanied by taxes”

He president of the Provincial Council of Ciudad Real, the “popular” Miguel Ángel Valverdeasked the Government of Castile-La Mancha to take into account their requests to “make more flexible” the employment plans that they jointly propose, so that the hired personnel “adapt to the needs” of the municipalities and hiring “is not imposed by social criteria. »

This was what Valverde said this Thursday, in response to questions from journalists, during the press conference on the reopening of the Ciudad Real bullfighting school, from where he once again suggested that the Council provincial would abandon the employment plan that the Council and provincial institutions have been proposing jointly and continuously since 2016 if their requests are “not taken into account”.

At this point, Valverde recalled that he had a meeting in April with the President of Castile-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Pagein which he spoke of “the need” to relax these employment plans, without his proposals having been taken into account.

According to the president of the Provincial Council, he was transferred to the president of the Council of Communities of Castile-La Mancha that the employment plan must respond to the needs of the municipalities, with the aim that they have more flexibility “to carry out the proposed projects” and that hiring “is not imposed by social criteria”.

Likewise, he indicated that he had also asked García-Page to finance it “one hundred percent” of the Government of Castile-La Manchasince the Provincial Council finances the social security expenses of the municipalities.

“We have not received a response to these requests and our head of Employment met with the Director General of Employment of the Authority to address this problem and direct the situation, the response being negative,” declared the president of the Provincial Council. .

Faced with this situation and after the controversy that arose, Valverde assured that there were two solutions: “That the Council of Communities gets closer to the Provincial Deputation so that the town halls have autonomy or that the Provincial Deputation has its own employment plan and the Council another.
