The Civil Guard confirmed that at least 13 people died due to the devastation of the storm which left dozens of people missing, caused damage and caused flooding throughout the Valencian Community.
The president of the Community, Carlos Mazón, insisted on the importance of avoiding road travel. “May they protect their health and help the troops to be able to act,” Mazón asked in statements to the media this morning. These trips should be avoided not only in Valencia, but also in Castellón, which is on yellow alert. “We have activated the multiple victims procedure,” said the president, who did not specify a figure for the moment.
