The Civil Guard has intervened at Palma airport a a large number of archaeological pieces belonging to Spanish historical heritage when they were going to be taken out of the country illegally and which could have been plundered in the waters of Majorca.
As reported by the Army Institute in a press release, following this discovery, the Nature Protection Service (Seprona), within the framework of the powers assigned to it in this type of crime, opened an investigation which resulted in the recovery of more than 1,000 historical piecesamong which there are many coins, amphorae, ointments, lamps, containers, jewelry, figurines and swordsamong others.
All this heritage, in the absence of a more detailed definitive report, is estimated to have incalculable value.
All archaeological material will be delivered by the Civil Guard to the Historical Heritage Service for study and cataloging, but its final destination is restitution to the citizens of the Balearic Islands so that are on display at the Mallorca Museum.
On the other hand, the Civil Guard arrested a 59-year-old man in Inca for Threats with a knife and injuries for attacking others during an argument over a lottery ticket.
The events occurred on Thursday, when the Civil Guard was informed by a telephone call from witnesses present on site. Apparently, two men were arguing and had a very aggressive attitude.

As he stood up and composed himself, the alleged attacker entered a nearby bar, grabbed a knife and, speaking to the victim, threatened her, telling her that he was going to kill her, making a movement as if he was cutting his neck. Pedestrians present at the scene called the Civil Guard, who arrived quickly.
There they identified the people involved in the event and after carrying out the necessary checks, they arrested the alleged perpetrator of the events, who confirmed that he was the author of the injuries and threats and handed over the knife to Civil Guard agents.
For all these reasons, the man was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the offense of wounding and threatening with a knife.
