The Civil Guard intervenes at Palma airport with a large number of looted archaeological pieces

The Civil Guard has intervened at Palma airport a a large number of archaeological pieces belonging to Spanish historical heritage when they were going to be taken out of the country illegally and which could have been plundered in the waters of Majorca.

All archaeological material will be delivered by the Civil Guard to the Historical Heritage Service for study and cataloging, but its final destination is restitution to the citizens of the Balearic Islands so that are on display at the Mallorca Museum.

On the other hand, the Civil Guard arrested a 59-year-old man in Inca for Threats with a knife and injuries for attacking others during an argument over a lottery ticket.

The events occurred on Thursday, when the Civil Guard was informed by a telephone call from witnesses present on site. Apparently, two men were arguing and had a very aggressive attitude.

There they identified the people involved in the event and after carrying out the necessary checks, they arrested the alleged perpetrator of the events, who confirmed that he was the author of the injuries and threats and handed over the knife to Civil Guard agents.

For all these reasons, the man was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the offense of wounding and threatening with a knife.
