The Civil Guard investigates two young people for stealing 5,000 kilos of almonds from villages in Huesca

Agents of ROCA Team of the Civil Guard of Huesca investigated two young people aged 20 and 22, residents of Huesca, as alleged perpetrators of two offenses of almond theft. The events occurred in properties for agricultural use in the municipalities of Loarre and Bolea, during the 2023 almond campaign.

It was last February that the ROCA team in Huesca learned that between October and November 2023, several almond thefts had been committed continuously in properties used for agriculture in the towns of Loarre and Bolea. They were stolen there 1,500 and 3,500 kilograms respectively, bringing its market value to around €6,000.

After the efforts made by the agents to clarify the events that occurred, the similarity of the operating mode in the two localities and the citizen collaboration, in October of this year, the investigation of two people as perpetrators of two alleged crimes of continuous theft.

The proceedings carried out by the ROCA team of the Civil Guard of Huesca were brought before the Instruction Court No. 2 of Huesca, with the obligation for those accused to appear when the Judicial Authority requires it.
