In Samara, comedian Guram Demidov’s performance was canceled after a joke mentioning Jesus Christ. This was reported by representatives of the concert hall.
“Yes, cancelled. The performance was supposed to take place today.” – representatives of the room told RIA Novosti.
Previously, a journalist from the Spas TV channel published a fragment of one of Demidov’s speeches, in which he joked that Jesus was Russian and opened the Red and White chain of stores.
The human rights center “Sorok Sorokov” responded to the video on its Telegram channel. Activists called the comedian’s repetition “blasphemy” and “harsh jokes.” In addition, social activists believe that the comedian draws attention by “mocking faith.” The center asked its subscribers “not to ignore” and write statements to the Russian Investigative Committee on this matter.
