It should be noted that Audi’s core profit fell by 91%, from 1.2 billion euros in the third quarter of last year to 106 million euros for the same period in 2024. Sales in several markets, including Germany and the United States, have dropped, as has demand for Audi cars. Among Volkswagen subsidiaries, only the Lamborghini brand maintained stable sales; the biggest drop was seen in Bentley: 35%.
Currently, the management of “Audi” is negotiating with workers’ representatives to find a way out of the current situation.
