The municipal council has renewed the Christmas card competition for another year aimed at Primary school studentsbetween 6 and 12 years old, whose home or study center is in Pamplona.

The deadline for submission of works expires on next Monday, November 25. Each student can present only one work per modality, in paper format or in electronic format.

The competition establishes three categories, depending on the course in which students are registered. Category A includes boys and girls in 1st and 2nd grade; category B, for children under 3rd and 4th grade; and category C, for students in 5th and 6th grade of primary school.

These will be cards with a free theme, with religious or secular motifs, with any artistic technique and referring to the celebration of the Christmas celebrations in Pamplona. The size of the works will be a maximum of 21×15 centimeters.

Each modality has three prices. The first of them includes a set of school supplies amounting to 200 euros for the author who submitted the winning work and a set of school supplies amounting to 250 euros for the center educational institution in which he is registered, only in the case where the center is located in Pamplona.

The second and third prizes consist of lots of school supplies for the authors for an amount of 150 and 100 euros respectively.

The works can be presented by interested people or by the educational centers of the field of Culture, Festivals, Education and Sports (c/ Descalzos, 72, 1º. 31001 Pamplona) or by email [email protected]. Likewise, any route provided for by Law 39/2015 of October 1 on the common administrative procedure of public administrations can be used.

In case of paper delivery, Each work must be duly labeled on the back, with personal and contact information (last name, first name, age and class, address and telephone number of the author, educational center and name of the teacher). If the work is submitted electronically, the same data must be included in an attached file.

The competition jury will be chaired by the advisor responsible for Culture, Festivals, Education and Sports, Maider Beloki Unzu, and it will be composed of drawing and painting teachers from the Catalina de Oscáriz school and a municipal teacher. The jury will evaluate the creativity, expression, originality and composition of the works presented, among other artistic concepts.
