The Minister of Consumption and Social Rights, Pablo Bustra, announced today that several Spanish companies stopped their activities in the Palestinian territories a year after the minister himself sent a letter to several Spanish companies, to which he asked not to contribute to human rights violations in Palestine.
In an interview on the radio, Euskadi Bustrui also indicated that he asked the president of the head, Antonio Garameni, to stand with companies that continue to work in the occupied Palestinian territories. “We strongly urge the Spanish employers to take part in that the Spanish economic agents do not bring or do not participate in any kind or indirect method with an unbearable genocide that is performed,” he said.
The minister repeated that it is necessary to break “every commercial, diplomatic or economic connection” with Israel and increase the pressure “to stop genocide in gas”, which includes that companies do not contribute to the occupation of Palestine and products that are based on illegal settlements of settlers, should clearly indicate that its origin is that.
During the interview, the head of consumption expressed his “maximum concern” of the situation with displaced activists to participate in the world march in gas, and transferred his “thanks to activists of the whole world who do what the government does not, that is, significantly increase the political, international, diplomatic, economic and commercial pressure in relation to Israel, in order to put an end to this general.”
“All political, social, economic entities must do everything in his hand in order to put an end to this situation that will pursue us for decades,” the minister said, for whom “any initiative to increase this pressure is appreciated”, such as boycott, refusal and sanction for Israel.
